Getting Ready for a Road Trip

My first travel for this blog is getting nearer, and I still haven't packed my stuff.  Meantime, amid all the hustle of buying the stuff I need to bring and trying on stuff I want to bring, the place we'll be going to is generating some noise. Okay, so as the reporter has said, if not for the North Korea rocket launch then they wouldn't have discovered that there is such a place in the northern tip of the Philippines.  However, even before all this media hype (Palaui is now touted as an eco-tourism spot, Anguib Beach is touted as the "Boracay of the North") my friends and I were already finalizing our plans to reach this promising destination.

Because of budget constraints (mainly mine), my friends will of course be forced to endure an overnight bus ride to Tuguegarao, and another long ride to Sta. Ana.  To make it worth the trouble, we're making sure to jam pack our stay with as many activities that we can muster, namely: cave exploring, food tripping, island hopping, sunning at the beach, snorkeling, and lighthouse exploring.  Hopefully, we'd also get enough strength to check the waterfall in Palaui (fingers crossed).

So, as a teaser, I am including links to the gmanews.tv feature on Anguib Beach, and the gmanews.tv photo on Palaui as a prime eco-tourism spot.

Meanwhile...my bag is still empty, save for the bus tickets that I resolutely secured before the manic packing stage takes hold of my common sense.  On my to do list: oh, never mind, there are things better left unsaid, hehehe :)

My Travel Project

Okay, here goes!!

I may not always have the budget to go to all these ideal long trips.  However, I hope I can make every event (in my life, at least) an adventure of sorts.  Why blog?  Well, I've always done this - albeit in accounts which will still remain private for reasons I'll keep to myself, and those others that have more or less languished in the pits because of my lack of care.

So I decided, why not start writing about events that I have been experiencing, things that I'd rather not share through facebook (because let's face it, if I post my blog-long descriptions there then nobody might read them!) or those which facebook cannot hope to capture the experiences behind the photos (warning, technology un-savvy, so I might be wrong about this).  And why not just share a link through my facebook?

Oh well, let's see okay? And it helps that my friends have scheduled their visits here a month apart!
